Let's throw up a tent and learn everything you'd need to know to be a master camper. As always, we'll take some target practice with the bows as well. We'll have a rich discussion in the glamp-lounge and five-star meal in our dining tent from a private chef. Glamping available too!

About the event
DOB'S are day-to-evening events designed for both the grace and grit of us. For the "Camping Edition", we'll demystify setting up a tent and a campsite, build a fire for s'mores, tie some key knots and learn a few tips and tricks that will make a pro-camper for when you want to venture into the woods!
And, when the activities are done, we'll dress UP for dinner (wear your favorite dress or something that makes you feel GREAT!) and gather in beautiful glamping lounge tent for a rich, leadership-focused discussion. Then, the doors will open to our dining tent, where a private chef will serve us an oustanding 3-course, 5-star meal. We'll share wine and stories under the stars and you'll leave with new friends, new ideas, and totally filled up!
As a special add-on, weekend glamping accommodations are available at Croton Point Park Campground after this event! Space is limited, so book the D.O.B here -- and, if you're interested in glamping that weekend, please see the "Project 1490 Glamp-Out" for Croton Point Park on June 21-22.
WHAT TO WEAR
You're going to need two outfits! Come in your super comfy athletic/outdoor gear, sneakers or hiking boots, and layers. It's so hard to tell what the weather will be, but we're going to be outside for the better part of the day (grit, baby). Hats, rain jackets, sweatshirts and sunscreen -- all could be good ideas dependingon the weather, but this isn't your first rodeo. And then, for the evening, bring a dress or something you feel great in (grace, baby)! Have an outfit you wish you had a place to wear? This is the place! We will do a quick-change before we sit down for our discussion in the lounge tent. (No heels though please, they don't mix well with tent floors where we'll be dining. Sneakers with dresses are most welcome!)
HOW TO GET HERE
Train: If you're coming from the city, you can take the Hudson Line from Grand Central up to Croton-Harmon Station. Please take the 12:35PM express train that gets in at 1:29PM and I will arrange transportation from the station to my house (and back again, unless you opt for an Uber to get home).
Car: If you're driving, the address is: 7 Bridge Lane, Croton-on-Hudson. If you haven't been here before, once you turn onto Bridge Lane - we are the first driveway on the left, but you can't see the house from the road. Look for cinder-block retaining walls with two garbage cans and come on up! IMPORTANT: Please arrive sometime no later than 1:45PM. There's tons of parking up the driveway.
Please Note: We have a lot to experience, so we'll will start promptly at 2:PM. Hopefully, this will allow for any work to be done in the morning and give us a chance to really leave the world behind. I am hopeful that we can put our phones away to really be present. We'll take some breaks so things can be checked on - and of course, if there's an emergency - you'll be able to take care of it.
ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
