"Look at Their Forehead" and Other Great Negotiating Advice

I saw Tyra Banks speak recently, and she was asked for her best tip on negotiating. She said "Look at their forehead." That was a new one for me, but I get why it works! If you're nervous about asking for what you want, looking into someone's eyes while saying your well-rehearsed words can add to your nervousness. So, if you focus your eyes on their forehead, they still think you're looking at them, but you take a little heat off the moment so you can more confidently say what you came to say.
